At a glance

  • A printable holographic front and matte back.
  • A blue core, distinct from Black Core.
  • The visible effect depends on lighting and ink coverage.

An effect that changes with light

The holographic front creates coloured reflections as you tilt the card. A photograph or screen simulation cannot predict the exact appearance under your lighting.

Heavy ink coverage can make reflections less visible. Compare artwork with dark solid areas and lighter artwork on a first sheet to choose your balance between contrast and effect.

Identify front, back and core

The matte back can receive the card back design. The two faces therefore look different; preserve this orientation in your layout and when turning the sheet over.

A blue core is not Black Core. It describes this paper’s construction, not a measured opacity guarantee or a reproduction of a collectible card’s properties.

Prepare feeding and cutting

Check accepted ink and tray thickness limits before loading the paper. For an optical cutting machine, reflections are another check: its sensor must recognise the marks on your actual sheet.

  1. Identify the printing face using a scrap or the packaging.
  2. Print one sheet and let it dry before printing the back.
  3. Check mark reading and cutting on a test area before a batch.
