300 and 330 gsm are basis weights, not a compatibility list

Basis weight describes a mass per area. Between two references, 300 gsm and 330 gsm therefore provide a useful comparison point, but they are not enough to predict how a sheet will feed through a printer. The paper path, medium thickness and limits of the model remain decisive.

Also compare the stated thickness

The catalogue lists a supplier thickness of 350 to 360 µm for 300 gsm matte, 370 to 375 µm for 330 gsm matte, and 385 µm for 330 gsm holographic front / matte back. These figures describe the offered references; they are neither ProxyCardStock laboratory measurements nor a threshold accepted by every printer.

Decide without guessing

1. Check your printer manual for the accepted medium type, thickness or basis weight and the intended tray.
2. Compare that information with the listing for the reference that interests you.
3. Print a single test sheet before preparing a run.
4. If feeding or printing is not satisfactory, stop the test and adjust the medium choice or settings.
